  • Assist the Project Director in the preparation of the detailed project implementation plan.
  • Supervision and monitoring of project activities
  • Check project expenditures and recommend to the Executive Director for final approval
  • Purchase of equipment and supplies needed by the staff and projects after approval from the Project Director
  • Supervise the project staff
  • Schedule project activities, oversee daily operations, coordinate the activities of the project and set priorities for successful implementation of the project

Major Responsibilities

  • Administering a virtual platform (Climate Transparency) to collect information on climate transparency issues through citizen reporters.
  • Ensure climate action at the very early stage defying the bureaucracy and red-tape practices based on the theme of a stitch in time saves nine.
  • Ensure access to information for the climate victims to get necessary documents for planned and ongoing interventions by Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB), Local Government Engineering Department (LGED), Sundarban Forest Department and Rural Electrification Board (REB).
  • Hunt for best practices in climate action.
  • Overall project management.

Major Responsibilities

  • Provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data; preparing reports.
  • Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
  • Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
  • Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
  • Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
  • Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
  • Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.
  • Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
  • Maintains stakeholder confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.

Major Responsibilities

  • Point person for desired destination
  • Organize and schedule meetings and appointments
  • Coordinate with IT department on all office equipment
  • Manage relationships with vendors, service providers and landlord, ensuring that all items are invoiced and paid on time
  • Manage contract and price negotiations with office vendors, service providers and office lease
  • Responsible for creating PowerPoint slides and making presentations
  • Manage executives' schedules, calendars and appointments
  • Responsible for managing office services by ensuring office operations and procedures are organized, correspondences are controlled, filing systems are designed, supply requisitions are reviewed and approved and that clerical functions are properly assigned and monitored
  • Ensure that results are measured against standards, while making necessary changes along the way
  • Allocate tasks and assignments to subordinates and monitor their performance
  • Assign and monitor clerical, administrative and secretarial responsibilities and tasks among office staff
  • Perform review and analysis of special projects and keep the management properly informed
